Health 
IMC continued its health services and mobile clinics programme in Kao-Malifut, 
Tobelo, Galela, Bere-Bere and Daruba sub-districts and treated over 908 
patients. 

A UNICEF Emergency Health Officer from Jakarta facilitated a preliminary 
strategic planning meeting on Monday (18 Nov.) with the Heads of Health 
Departments at Provincial, District and Municipality levels, and also the 
Director of Ternate Hospital. This is the first step of UNICEF and the Health 
Department's strategic planning in developing health initiatives for North 
Maluku. 

Water and Sanitation 
AcF monitored its water and sanitation projects in East Gane sub-district 
during the week. 

WVI transported building materials to Tomabaru Village, Kao sub-district, in 
conjunction with the implementation of its MCK (combined bathing, washing and 
toilet) construction project.
