CARDI conducted talk show titled "IDPs Want To Go Home" on Monday (16 June) 
that involved Kimpraswil and IDP representatives. 

WVI conducted training on Capacity Workshop for Peace in Tobelo sub-district 
from 17 to 19 June. Thirty people participated in the training. 
7. West Timor 

General Situation 
A local newspaper, Radar Timor, reported on Wednesday (18 June) that former 
refugees would be removed immediately from an emergency camp in Haliwen stadium 
of Atambua, as construction of the stadium would continue. An important sports 
event at district level will take place in the stadium shortly. 

A local newspaper, Pos Kupang, reported on Friday (20 June) that Piet A Tallo 
was re-elected as the Governor of West Timor for the second time for 2003 - 
2008 period. Meanwhile, Frans Lebu Raya was appointed as the new Vice Governor.
