Leader, and training for Village Malaria Health Workers (health workers in 
villages who give education on Malaria) on Malaria who work in Drug Warehouse - 
Batch 1 in Oba sub-district and Payahe village. These activities were carried 
out by the Provincial Health Office. 

Education 
UNICEF and its implementing partner, WVI, conducted a socialisation activity on 
Creating Learning Community for Children (CLCC) Project to the District and 
Provincial Education Offices of North Maluku on Wednesday (25 June). Activities 
under this project will be Training of Teachers (ToT) for elementary school 
teachers and staff from North Maluku Education Offices. 

UNICEF monitored the beneficiaries of school materials in 6 schools in Jailolo 
and Sahu sub-districts. On Thursday (26 June), UNICEF monitored a workshop for 
peer educators implemented by CARDI (under its Youth Programme) in Jailolo sub-
district. 

On 19 June, WVI monitored activities of the Happy House in SD Wari.
