On 27 July CARDI inaugurated the completed water system project in Gosale 
Puncak village of North Oba sub-district. 

Health 
On 24-25 July, WHO conducted review of Surveillance Epidemiologi for Ternate 
District Puskesmas health workers in Ternate Health Office. 

Education 
UNICEF together with SC UK was officially invited by the provincial committee 
of the National Children's day on 22 July 2003 to visit orphanages in Ternate 
city. During the visits UNICEF provided various education materials such as 
books on CRC (Convention on The Rights of the Children) and magazines for the 
orphanages. 

During this week, CARDI's youth programme conducted peer educator outreach 
activities focusing on reproductive health in Jailolo, Sahu and Ibu sub-
districts.
